HELP SHANNON RACE ACROSS THE FINISH LINE

As many of you know, my path to the 5-star level has been filled with ups and downs. After being part of the 2011 Pan American team and earning a gold medal, I was faced with a significant back injury that forced me to take a step back from competition. But as is often the case with this sport, challenges are opportunities for growth. Through hard work and determination, I’ve worked my way back to the top.

 

A few years ago, I made the bold decision to relocate from California to Pennsylvania, where I could immerse myself in a strong community of top-tier professionals and training opportunities. This move has completely transformed my career, offering more chances to train and compete, as well as develop horses up through the levels.

 

Now, after years of dedication, I’m preparing for my debut at the Kentucky Three-Day Event with my incredible partner Eindhoven Garette. No one thought I would ride again, let alone competing at the 5-star level, after my injury. This is truly a dream come true, and I could not have done it without you. The daily support, emails and texts of encouragement from friends from afar, old clients, and especially family. I’m so grateful to be at this point in my journey and it means so much to have all of you in my corner no matter how big or small the task ahead. It will be an absolute honor to make everyone proud at this event!
